pricing questions

Is there a free plan?
Yes. MDflow's free plan needs no credit card: up to 100 markdown documents and 5 image uploads, plus public sharing links, reader comments, collections, and client-side encryption. You write in a Monaco editor with live preview and GitHub Flavored Markdown.
What does Pro include, and how much is it?
Pro is €4.99/month. It raises the limits to 10,000 documents and a large image allowance, and unlocks private email sharing of documents and folders, version history, Personal Access Tokens, the HTTP API, and the remote MCP server.
How much is a Team account?
A Team account is €9.99 per active member each month, with a 7-day free trial. Seats follow membership: adding a member adds a prorated seat, removing one releases it. Team billing is a separate subscription from personal Pro, and the owner starts it from the Team account's settings — a card is collected at checkout.
Do team members each need personal Pro?
No. A Team seat grants Pro-grade capability inside the Team account — version history, the Team API, and the Team MCP server work for every active member regardless of their personal plan. It does not change their personal workspace, which keeps whatever plan it is on.
How does the free trial work? Can I cancel?
Pro comes with a 7-day free trial and no card is required to start. You can cancel anytime from your settings; if you cancel you keep Pro until the period ends and then return to the free plan.
Why do the API and MCP server require Pro?
Agent control — the REST API, the MCP server, and Personal Access Tokens — is a Pro feature. Claude.ai and ChatGPT can sign in to the hosted MCP server with no token to paste, but the workspace owner still needs Pro for that connection and for header-based clients like Cursor, Codex, and scripts.
